Mojo Kenpo is a small American Kenpo school dedicated to practical self-defense and personal improvement through serious study of the Art.

Classes are intentionally small. Instruction is personal. Training partners do more than share floor space, they become invested in one another's development.

SMALL BY DESIGN

Mojo Kenpo does not depend on hundreds of students or a large dedicated facility. Training through Peak Community & Wellness Center helps keep overhead comparatively low, tuition reasonable, and classes personal.

That structure gives the instructor room to remain accessible and invested in individual students, while allowing the character of the school to grow from the people training in it rather than the pressure to maximize enrollment.

PRACTICAL SELF-DEFENSE

Self-defense is larger than fighting. It begins with awareness, recognition, judgment, avoidance, and positioning. When physical action becomes necessary, American Kenpo provides practical tools built around movement, targeting, distance, timing, reaction, control, and adaptation.

Realistic practice matters. So do restraint, responsibility, and care for the people who help us train.

A LIVING LINEAGE

The American Kenpo taught at Mojo descends from Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker through Grandmaster Paul Mills and Professor Sean Carey.

Grandmaster Mills' teaching, principles, and influence remain an essential part of the Kenpo practiced here. Mojo Kenpo honors that legacy as an independent school committed to carrying the Art forward with gratitude and care.
